American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (February, 17 2009)


The United States Congress signs into law the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The ARRA is a direct response to the economic crisis to address the three main goals of creating new jobs as well as saving existing ones, spurring economic activity and investing in long-term economic growth, and fostering unprecedented levels of accountability and transparency in government spending.
